Dia De Los Burritos in Pitman

Read this : For the on point review. Ok So I came here first time and Ordered a double meat burrito bowl with most of the upgrades too. Pros: Very Friendly Staff.Great flavor beef and steak.Great Queso. Fresh productsClean Cons: Unnecessarily complicated ordering tablets. (cool but just makes it complicated. In my time there I saw 3 other people struggle with it. Long wait (was over 20mins for one bowl. ) Pricey for sure. granted I got 2 meats , no rice ,no beans. and some extras was 18.00 and Im not shy at all for price is if the flavor supports it. Unfortunately i didnt feel it did Here's why.The salsa I got was very "jar style" now to be fair it made be homemade. though the taste pretty much compromised the entire dish. If you're going to have sugar skulls and a Spanish title (and price) you really need to bring the fresh vibrant flavors people would expect.

Super fresh ingredients. Every menu item I've tried has been amazing. Best Mexican food north of the border.

THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT!!! THE BBQ SEITAN IS INCREDIBLE!! I absolutely love the menu setup on the build your own Burrito clipboards. I have tried everything here, the portions are absolutely perfect, the place is awesome inside, the owners are super friendly, i adore them! I can go on and on about this place forever. I recommend this for everyone of all ages ❤❤❤

Burritos are good, but have gotten tacos twice for my wife and I and they were just sad. Almost no meat, plenty of lettuce (why?) And just an absolute cold mess. I wanted to love my local spot, but I gave them several chances and just can't go back.

Food is very great! Place has limited seating. I had the chicken Chipotle bacon Taco's. Enjoyed them very much

I've had nothing but great experiences at this restaurant. The food is always great, the service is fantastic, and the overall experience is second to none. Definitely my favorite burrito restaurant in the area.

Love this place! Great people and fantastic food. I usually go for a bowl, and the BBQ seitan. I picked up a couple cool shirts, too - check 'em out, and throw some free stickers on your ride while you're at it.

It's like you "muerte"-ed and went to heaven. Amazingly original combinations and authentic flavors. Super friendly staff and large satisfying portions. My personal favorites are the fish tacos, but that is a hard call to make since everything "es mi favorito". Sorry about that. Just go, you'll be glad you did.

Horrible! My order was completely messed up. I am someone who does not eat red meat and I ordered the grilled chicken tacos and they gave me steak. I did not want them to fix the mistake simply because when I got the taco, it was already completely falling apart in a corn tortilla. Terrible I will not be back!

Not much flavor at all unless you add a bunch of hot sauce. It didn't even taste like they had put salt in their rice. Otherwise it was nice to be able to customize your bowl or burrito so much.

I'm writing this as I eat because it is just THAT good. Everything is fresh, the portions are great for leftovers, and their hot sauces and honey ginger sriracha sauce is amazing!! I would come here every day if I could!

nah. disgrace to mexican food. go down the street to el mariachi if you want real, top of the line mexican.this place's sriracha tacos got the most flavorless (completely unseasoned) shredded chicken in it, lettuce, pinto beans, sour cream, and the sriracha sauce (which was ok) but the sauce is not enough to warrant getting it. that's it.how can you make tacos with nothing but lettuce, chicken and beans in it? i was laughing seeing how good the reviews are at this place. it is so trash i really couldn't believe it

I was so excited for my husband to try Dia de Los burritos since I had been there before and really enjoyed my food. Unfortunately, our experience tonight was not very good. When we got there the number we were told to call was busy. Our order came out quick when someone from the restaurant came out to deliver another order and we headed home. When we got home the burritos in our bag did not match what we ordered and all of the toppings and beans were missing from my burrito. I even had to add my own guacamole which I paid extra for on my burrito. My husband got more toppings on his burrito but they were not what he wanted. This was so upsetting considering how excited we were for this dinner. I hope whoever received our burritos enjoyed eating them. Luckily my 4 year old daughter’s quesadilla was correct and she enjoyed it.

I would have gave 2-1/2 stars if I were allowed.The food wasn’t bad but it just wasn’t authentic. There was no cotija . I can melt American cheese on tostitos. There was no salsa Verdi. Just sour cream and regular store bought salsa. To spice up my burrito they just put extra hot sauce on it. I expected, with a name like theirs , that this would be extremely authentic. The menu was extremely limited and quite expensive for what the are serving. I think a letter grade would be more fitting C- for sure. There’s to many places around for that to be considered authentic Mexican cuisine.

Mind blowing food, daily fresh made salsa and guacamole, super friendly staff, quickly fresh made food. Bathrooms, sit down or take out and video game table. Highly recommend taco Tuesday they always offer up something fresh and new, but it sells or quick.

This place has the best burritos I've ever had. I would highly recommend coming here if you have a hole that needs filling with food. The price is worth it. 10/10.

Wow is all i got to say. I just had a chicken burrito there with lettuce, rice, cheese, beans, and salsa and it was the best burrito i have had hands down. Beats any Moes, Chipotle, and Pancheros by far. Chips were homemade and also very good. Queso was good and the smoked salsa was amazing. I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about this spot well done.

Simply amazing hand crafted authentic Mexican food. Close to touch and heart experience with the staff and owners. Must try and guaranteed returning customer.

Atmosphere was very good, food was alright. I suppose I expected the burrito to be a bit more flavorful. As compared to so.e of the other Mexican restaurants in the area, it is somewhat bland. However the food was good and the portions were generous.

I love this place. Great food, healthy portions, very reasonable prices. Staff is very welcoming. Low key place for a tasty burrito or whatever your fancy. Wish I found this place sooner!

When I was living in Pitman I'd go at least once a week but usually twice a week because it was so good and I still travel the hour occasionally to get my fix as Chipotle can't match the quality of Dia. I've only really had the burritos because they were so good that there was no reason for me to try anything else. The Dia De Los hot sauces and salsas are also great. The workers are very friendly, helpful, and get your food out quickly. Seating is pretty limited so that'd probably be the only downfall as they do get a decent amount of customers during peak hours but you can judge that when you go in and decide to to dine in or take out.

Absolutely love this place. The food is fresh, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is very laid back. It's small and can get cramped but you can always take out and head to one of the breweries down the block. Certainly not a bad alternative! My go-to is a custom burrito and they don't skimp on any ingredient. Best burrito I've ever had, regardless of independent or chain restaurant. I don't have a bad thing to say about the place.

Good, but was tons better when there was the seitan option for burritos. The beyond meat just doesn't cut it and is terrible in comparison.

Best burritos in Gloucester County, hands down. The vibe in the shop can't be beat, and the people that work there are always the friendliest, most helpful people. The food is reasobably priced for the high quality. Their selection is small, but you'll still have a rough time choosing! The salsa and guacamole is phenomenal. They're a hidden gem, give them a try!

Not cheap but 100 percent worth it. Staff & food are awesome. If you like burritos, you will love this place! There's nothing like it for several miles around.

Dia De los has better burritos then all the burrito chairs combined. Not only was everything fresh ans flavorful but unlike other places, one of their burritos fills you up. Each burrito comes with chips on the sides but honestly good luck finishing everything. You will leave here full and satisfied every time. The cost / portion is incredible.

I like this place! They provide great food, their menu is varied, The chef in that spot is a real pro, I like very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are always good, the service towards the guests is friendly. I often go to this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

Dia De Los Burritos has exceeded my expectations EVERY SINGLE TIME. The food always an exceptional take on Tex-mex and the staff are always great. The restaurant itself is unique and one of the cleanest places I’ve ever dined. 10/10 would recommend!

Found a very long hair in my burrito, not the first time it happened, not going back there.

Food was really good but service was not pleasant. Employees loitering out front were rude. That was fine until I learned the price differential was 10$ more expected. Burrito 15$ lol excuse was couldnt update online menu.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The chips are uninspired and the salsa served in a tiny cup. However the salsa was fresh and quite tasty. The rest of the meal got better from there. We went with a taco sampler and the three tacos were amazing. The flavors of each type went well together and just popped. We will be going back to try the rest of the menu.

Great food great service great atmosphere

I'm giving this 3 stars because we have gone here in the past and enjoyed it, albeit on some occasions items were forgotten such as extra guac. Not a big deal. However, recently my fiance and I ordered burrito bowls and when we picked them up they were not the quality we have gotten used to from this place. They did not taste fresh, they tasted like they had been sitting out on the counter; the meat was cold. I'll take into consideration we had a 5 min drive home so that plays into the equation, but it just didn't taste right. Additionally, they forgot the rice for one of the burrito bowls, which we know was ordered because it was on the receipt. The bowl was gloupy and soup-like without the rice and just wasn't appetizing. We have had good experiences in the past, it's our favorite spot, but this time was just not the same.

I had high hopes for this place based on some reviews but my experience was not good. The chicken in my chicken burrito was pink and soft (raw). Needless to say, I lost my appetite and consider myself lucky I didn't contract food poisoning. Eat here at your own risk.

Great flavor to the steak and chicken burrito. The burrito had great structural integrity with the rice and cheese forming a structural lattice that I would be confident eating single handed while driving.

Certainly a place worth trying, the food is awesome and fresh, the costs are convenient and it is consistently well kept there. 5 stars.

You may want to add a couple more dollar signs to the description of this business. I just ordered two steak burritos for my husband and my son, one with extra steak, one with the regular amount of steak. The total cost for two burritos was 33 dollars. I questioned the cost, and they said that they had new pricing, and that the steak burritos are more expensive now...12.50 without extra steak...17.00 with the extra steak. I'm not sure how much extra steak they managed to fit in the burrito for 17 dollars, because when I brought the bag home, the burritos appear much smaller than the ones I've ordered in the past (see photo for an idea of the sizing). I've always enjoyed the food I've ordered from this business in the past, and I like to support our local businesses. However, with prices and portions like these, I just won't be able to any longer.
